KEF (Isavia) is the company that operates Keflavík Airport (KEF), Iceland's primary international airport. The company is responsible for the entire airport infrastructure, including passenger terminals, parking and airport general commercial development.
Developing a new uniform program for KEF airport Staff
In the beginning of 2025, Olino started the development of a new uniform program for the staff at KEF Airport after successfully winning the tender to supply the airport's new staff uniforms. The project marked the beginning of a close collaboration to create a uniform collection that reflects KEF Airport's vision of a more modern and professional identity while meeting the practical requirements of everyday airport operations.
The airport wanted to update its staff uniforms to support a more modern and professional identity that reflects the experience and image they wish to present to passengers and visitors.
The uniform collection was developed to meet the functional needs of the different staff roles across the airport. Navy was chosen as the main color throughout the collection, which primarily consists of trousers, polo shirts, and knitwear. The garments were designed with a focus on comfort, durability and everyday functionality in a demanding airport environment.
Recognizable airport staff
High-quality fabrics were carefully selected to ensure long-lasting performance, as airport staff uniforms are exposed to significant daily wear and tear due to the nature of the work and operational tasks performed throughout the airport.
An important part of the project was ensuring that passengers can easily recognize and identify the various airport departments. To support this, all polo shirts and knitwear feature printed department names, making it easier for passengers to identify staff and improving the overall passenger experience and service level at the airport.

The final result is a modern and functional uniform solution that strengthens the visual identity of KEF Airport while providing employees with comfortable and professional workwear suited for daily operations.
