AIR GREENLAND
In June 2025 Air Greenland introduced their new and modern uniform collection for cabin crew, pilots, and check-in staff.
Air Greenland, the national airline of Greenland, is known for flying passengers across the Arctic and beyond. The airline was established in 1960 and has undergone quite a bit of development since the beginning.
New uniforms
After 15 years with the same uniform design, Air Greenland was looking for a uniform that could capture the unique spirit of Greenland while meeting the practical needs of staff operating in diverse and often demanding climates.
Olino partnered closely with Air Greenland to develop a uniform program for their pilots, cabin crew, and ground staff. From concept to production, we worked close with the airline’s team, which included staff from several departments, to create a look that reflects their brand identity and Greenland’s vibrant culture.
By including the staff, who contributed with their requirements for the uniforms, we were able to develop a uniform that is functional and flexible - made to feel comfortable during work.
The Air Greenland staff represent Greenland and contribute to creating an impression aligned with the experience Air Greenland strives to deliver to the passengers. The unform has a big impact on how the Air Greenland crew can fulfill this responsibility, by looking stylish and having a professional appearance.
Mix of custom-made and ready-made
The uniform solution for Air Greenland is containing both custom-made items like the jacket, dress, apron, knitwear and garments from our Olino ready-made collection.
Special made garments and accessories
Beside the colorful red jacket, which is the identity color for Air Greenland, other items were made to support Air Greenland as a brand.
The wing with the white-tailed eagle, represents leadership, authority and perspective – just like the Air Greenland staff. The wing’s design expresses strength, calm, and professionalism. It is also a symbol of community, trust, and responsibility.
Other custom-made accessories as the ties and scarves were designed exclusively for Air Greenland, ensuring a distinctive and cohesive appearance.
