A responsible business behavior

To ensure fair and responsible conditions with our subcontractors, we use a Code of Conduct.

Socially sustainable

As we follow Danish and international legislation on human and labor rights, we require and expect our subcontractors and business partners to do the same.

We follow up on subcontractors and manufacturers’ compliance with our Code of Conduct regularly to make sure that they follow the standards formulated in the Code. In our Code of Conduct, we ask our subcontractors to manage adverse impacts on:

  • human rights, including labor rights,
  • the environment,
  • anti-corruption, and
  • animal welfare.

The scope of minimum requirements presented in the Code of Conduct is based on the ten principles of the UN Global Compact, and the required management of potential and actual adverse impacts aligns with the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights.

A responsible business conduct
according to the industry association

As a member of the Danish association for fashion and textile companies, Dansk Fashion and Textile, we use their template for our Code of Conduct. This ensures that the collaboration with subcontractors live up to minimum standards for a responsible and sustainable business conduct.

Both our subcontractors and Olino work towards alignment with the internationally recognized principles for sustainable development as presented in the Code of Conduct.
